First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Larson Design Group.
IT Support Specialist
After applying for several positions with this company I was surprised they reached out for an interview for the Sr IT Support Specialist position. Standard set up of interview with no time issues and general info of expectations. I nailed each question and gave examples of my 34 years of IT experience. Could have picked up that I am a gay male so of course no chance what so ever in todays climate.
- How would you deal with different personalities?
Associate HR Business Partner
So, the interview process was pretty standard, you know, but then I got ghosted after the third round. I tried reaching out multiple times, but nothing. Super disappointing, because even a basic rejection email would've taken like, ten seconds to send.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience and educational background?
Financial Analyst
It was a pretty smooth interview process with the team. There was a phone screen and then two more rounds. The rounds involved technical questions and also questions about my experience. HR, the hiring staff, and the team members communicated well. I also got to meet with upper management who gave me an honest look at expectations.
- Tell me about your experience using the software we currently use.
Project Coordinator
Got a quick reply after I applied, and the recruiter called me for a phone screen that was pretty fast and straightforward. Just three days later, I interviewed with the hiring manager via video. They asked clear questions about my experience.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with cross-functional teams?
- What is your experience with xyz?
