Sales Associate
The interview process is how employers check out candidates for a job. It's super important for seeing if someone has the right skills and fits the company culture to do well and help out.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role
General Manager
You'll be meeting a middle-aged white guy! Rarely a woman. There are no other races or genders in senior management. Easy interview, if you are 25-40 Male and White and Straight. If not, there will be more than one interview but look below... Pssss: Secret;) Wear U of Alabama something, a ring, whatever...and you're hired:) you're welcome
- Can you generate revenue for us?
- Can you reduce our costs?
- Are you able to follow instructions?
Manager
So the interview has standard questions, a lot of customer service scenario questions, like tell me a time when you dealt with an unruly customer and how you dealt with that situation, what are your strengths and weaknesses, where do you see yourself in 10 years. They really want to see teamwork, if you're always listening to the customer, being empathetic, and doing whatever it takes to make sure they are satisfied. It's pretty straightforward if you've worked in customer service or hospitality.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a difficult customer and describe your approach?
- What would you consider your greatest strengths and areas for improvement?
- What are your career aspirations for the next decade?
Associate
I interviewed in January. The process included an HR screening, a partner interview, and then a final decision. Unfortunately, I didn't get the offer and felt the process wasn't fair and didn't really check my qualifications thoroughly.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
