First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lantower Residential.
Resident Experience Specialist
The interview was genuinely enlightening and left me with a positive impression of both the role and the company. From the outset, the interviewer created an inviting atmosphere, asking thoughtful questions that went beyond the typical "tell me about yourself" routine. I felt like I had the opportunity to truly showcase my skills and experiences while also learning more about the company's culture and values.
- How far do you live?
Community Manager
First, I spoke with a recruiting manager, and it was a great conversation with standard questions. Next, I had an interview with the community manager, which also went really well and was scheduled fast. The last interview was with one of the regionals, and I got an offer a few days after. The whole process took about 2 weeks.
- What do you think are the 5 most crucial parts of this role?
- What makes you want to join Lantower?
VP of HR
The headhunter I worked with was great and professional. I prepped a lot for a video interview, but then Lantower changed what they were looking for in a candidate mid-process. Because of that, I wasn't considered anymore. It felt unfair to everyone involved, including the search firm. I wouldn't work for Lantower even if they asked again.
- Can you describe your leadership philosophy and how you manage teams, including staffing, development, motivation, and retention?
Management
I went through three interviews, all of which were very professional, warm, and conversational. The interviewers asked great questions and were quick to follow up between each interview.
- Can you describe how you would approach various specific situations?
- What is your approach to leadership?
- What familiarity do you have with different types of assets?
