Spanish Interpreter
The hiring process is quite straightforward. They communicate the pay rate immediately, so you know if the offer is suitable before investing time in interviews. The onboarding process is very quick, typically taking 3-5 days from the start. Most of the procedures are automated.
- Can you describe your experience relevant to this role?
Interpreter/Translator
First, we'll check your language skills. Then, we'll see what areas you're best at and how good you are. You'll do a role-play to show your skills. After that, you'll get training on the interpretation script and practice role-plays until you're comfortable.
- What are your future goals with this company?
Customer Service Representative
They asked me a lot of questions about how I perform under pressure, how I feel about customer service, and what I would do in some situations with interpreters or clients. They also talked about how important attendance is because it is a call center and mentioned errors that could disqualify you from getting hired on with the actual company after 90 days.
- What would you do if a client called in asking for a language we don't support?
- What would you do if a client called in and asked for a language not listed on our supported languages?
Medical Interpreter
Did a code of ethics and webinar test, then had a straightforward interview with questions on basic medical terminology. Had a case-scenario of a telephonic interpretation where I had to interpret as if it was real. Their BBB rating is A+, which gives a sense of trust. Waiting on the decision, but it has been a smooth process.
- How would you handle a situation where a patient uses offensive language?
