It was pretty relaxed. A professor who teaches math at the school referred me. The interview process isn't very involved. You just need to be good at math.

It was a quick 15 min interview. They asked about my experience with diverse populations, time management, and conflict resolution. They'll let me know about the job in about a week.

I was initially recruited for a Dean position that I didn't even know was open and wasn't interested in. But after doing some digging and talking to people I trust, I decided to apply. The first interview was a panel with three people (a manager, someone classified, and a faculty member), though the manager seemed to be leading things. I thought I did okay, but I didn't get called back for a second round. I'm not sure if it was my performance, if they thought I didn't have the right skills, or if it was just a formality because someone else was already set to get the job.

The interview had 2 parts. First, I had to do a quick 15-minute test with 5 math problems. After that, the recruiter asked me some questions about my personality and what I know.
