There were two rounds of interviews. The second round was a gauntlet-style interview where I interviewed with two people at a time for 30 minutes each. This second interview lasted around an hour and a half.

The hiring process was pretty involved. It started with a personality test, then a phone screen. After that, there was a one-on-one with the hiring manager, and sometimes the whole team. The final stage had four 30-minute interviews, each with two interviewers. It was tough, but I get it. The waiting was the hardest part, though. They said I'd know the decision within a week, but it took two and a half weeks to find out I didn't get the job. Disappointing because I really liked their values and everyone I met.

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter, Elise, who asked for my salary range, writing samples, and a time for a phone chat. I sent everything, including multiple writing samples and my availability. She never responded at the scheduled time, and after a couple of follow-ups, she finally suggested a new time. I asked to reschedule by 30 minutes and offered other days, but again, no response. Over a month later, I got an automated rejection. The communication was really bad and a waste of my time.

This was the best interview experience I've had with a Phoenix advertising agency. It turned out to be a group interview, which I wasn't expecting, with the people I'd be working with. Before the interview, I had to complete a quick quiz to assess personality fit, and they gave me the results, which were quite insightful.
