First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lane & Associates Family Dentistry.
Treatment Coordinator
First had a 20-30 minute zoom interview with the Recruiter, and then after management reviewed my information, I was invited for a working interview at the office with the manager.
- How do you make a patient feel welcomed into the office and enhance their visit?
Recruiter
The interview process spanned about 5 weeks. It started with a recruiter call, followed by two phone screens. Then there was a video interview, which I'm considering a technical screen, and finally, an in-person interview with the CEO and his wife. The company is really into community service and mission trips. Although the recruiter was professional and I learned a lot about the company, I didn't get the job because they were looking for someone with more corporate recruiting experience or a senior recruiter, which wasn't clear from the job posting. I only had 2 years of recruiting experience. I kind of knew I wouldn't get it during the final interview when they mentioned needing seasoned professionals like dentists and corporate recruiters. The recruiter did reach out about another position, but I declined. I received the official rejection email afterwards. I really wanted to grow with them on the role I applied for.
- Given the competitive market in the Triangle and the difficulty in finding suitable candidates, what would be your initial focus in this position?
Marketing Assistant
I went through one phone interview and then an in-person interview, and these both happened within two weeks. The first interview was with the HR Director, and the second one was with the Marketing President where I also had to do a short presentation.
- Can you tell me about your top three strengths?
- What's a weakness you possess, and what steps have you taken to address it?
Treatment Coordinator
First, I had a phone call, then a formal sit down with HR where they asked me some questions to see if I was a good fit for the job. After that, they scheduled me for a working interview and I got the job offer within two weeks.
- What can you bring to this company?
