Construction Intern
I get really nervous interviewing, but I actually had a great time meeting everyone on the team. They're a really nice group and they were clear about what to expect throughout the process. They were good about responding and made the whole experience positive for me.

Manager
This interview process was terrible. You have to go through multiple rounds of interviews for very low pay and mediocre benefits. You also find out during the process that you'll be expected to do the work of 3-5 people. It's also common for interviewers to be late or not show up at all, which results in needing to schedule even more interviews. It was surprising how much information about the position contradicted the job description, and I only found out by asking questions. Had I not asked, I don't think they would have disclosed key details, and I would have been shocked in the first few weeks. The bait-and-switch tactic was incredible, with many things not listed or directly contradicting the job description. The pay is really low, and despite claims of valuing employees, the low pay and poor benefits suggest otherwise. It's hard to imagine anyone living off this salary. The company's investors would likely be surprised by how little they pay those managing their properties, which might explain why some properties are struggling. They need to be more honest and transparent about the job, pay, and benefits from the start. Instead of just saying 'competitive salary,' they should provide a number or range. Same for PTO and paid holidays – be specific. If they claim work-life balance, they should state that the job requires working 6 days a week. Being transparent would attract candidates who accept their 'crappy offerings' and save everyone time. They also incorrectly state there are no supervisory responsibilities when the role involves leading multiple individuals and entire teams, all for the same low pay.
- I suppose these are pretty standard interview questions?
Leasing Agent
It was a great interview process, really informative and helpful. They asked some tough questions, but they were always respectful and actually cared about what I thought and what my experience was. The managers were super knowledgeable and really broke down what the job entails during the interviews. It felt like the company genuinely wanted their employees to do well and supported them.
- Can you provide details about your experience with sales scenarios?
- Tell me about a time you had to sell something.
- Can you describe a difficult sales situation you encountered and how you managed it?
Leasing Ambassador
I talked to someone who answered some questions about my resume. Then I discussed my understanding of the job and what it entails. I also mentioned my comfort with phone calls and how my school schedule would work. I brought up some marketing ideas I have and my knowledge of the market. Lastly, I talked to a current Leasing Ambassador for more advice.

- Could you tell me more about your resume?
