I was contacted by a Recruiter, and asked to apply for the Director Health Services role. The process involved a phone interview with the Recruiter, followed by a Zoom interview with the Director of an adjacent market. Then, I had a Zoom interview with the VP, Exec Director, and Director of the adjacent/current market. Everyone I spoke with was very professional, polite, gave great feedback, communicated well, and showed genuine interest in my candidacy. Despite this, after 3 weeks, I was ghosted and only found out they had filled the position when I inquired.

I got a phone interview invite a week after the recruiter reached out. I picked a date that was a week away, though there were other earlier slots available. When the time came, I was ready, having prepped answers and read company updates. The interviewer called, we said hellos, then they paused to pull up my profile. After about 5 seconds of silence, they told me the position was likely filled and asked if I still wanted to continue. I was surprised and upset because they had a week to tell me and cancel. I said it was okay, trying to play it cool, but I was really annoyed by the lack of professionalism and respect. It felt like they didn't value interested candidates. The main issue was the lack of communication, not that the job was filled. They even said they'd reach out if the other candidate didn't work out. I said 'sure' out of politeness, but this short interaction made me decide not to apply for future roles there. It's ironic since it's an onboarding position.

The technical interviews for Landmark, which operates under the name Imagine Technologies in India, consisted of 4 rounds in total. The first round involved recognizing visual patterns to determine what comes next. Following that, there were two technical rounds, and the final round was a managerial interview conducted by the VP of Imagine Technologies. After successfully clearing all 4 rounds, the HR department extended an offer with a salary significantly lower than my expectations, even below another offer I had received. It felt like a waste of time since they weren't prepared to meet my salary requirements.

I met the team during an IDT session where we discussed patients. A physician leader evaluated my clinical skills by asking how I would treat or care for patients presented. I also went on ride-alongs with other physicians to see patients. I spent several days seeing patients with Dr. Ahmad to understand the job expectations clearly.

  • The company was interested in making the position work for me and asked what they could do to accommodate me!
