Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Landis+Gyr.
Senior Engineer
I had two interviews, both in English with the team I would report to. The interview stages involved: an introduction, talking about who I am, what I do, and why I'm interested in this position. Technical questions were asked in both interviews to check my knowledge and how I approach problem-solving.
- What makes you the best choice for this position compared to other applicants?
Engineering Co-Op
It was a 30-minute, two-person interview held on campus. It was pretty straightforward, mostly about getting to know you and the company. No technical or really hard questions were asked. Professional clothing is recommended.
- Could you describe one of the most challenging projects you've worked on?
- What would you say is your greatest strength?
- What is your understanding of the utility company business?
Trainee Engineer
first there was a company presentation, then we took an aptitude and technical test, they only shortlisted 5 percent of students. after that, we went to noida for the company's office for the next round, where they selected 30 percent of the students after a group discussion. the last round was a technical interview with questions from engineering subjects. i didn't get through. i heard later that they also conduct HR interviews.
- Can you explain the connection between sensors and chips in semiconductors?
