Started with a phone call with the area manager, then had a zoom interview. This was followed by an in-store sign-off with the account manager and store approval. They also asked boots and boots screening questions, general retail questions, and questions about my beauty experience.

I had a sit-down interview where the interviewer was very friendly. They asked me about my skills and previous work. They also talked about the brand's values and what they expect from employees. Then they asked about my previous salary, and I think that's why they offered me less than usual for this job, even though I said I needed more to take the position. I found out later that others in the same role make more per hour than I do.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I chatted with the store manager and H&R manager first. They asked about my leadership experience, job experiences, communication skills, how to handle team conflicts, my knowledge of the product (I even knew the names of the Lancome shadow palette colors I was wearing, which was a plus!), my best and worst qualities, effective team leadership strategies, and some situation-specific questions. Then I had a phone interview with someone from Lancome corporate. It felt like a personality test, no right or wrong answers. She let me know the results, telling me my strongest qualities and wishing me luck. I think there was a background check and then an offer.

Behavioral Technical

I was already working at Macy's as a flyer and the account coordinator was interested in hiring me, so it was a quick interview process. She called the account executive and I then went through two phone calls, one was a talent plus interview and she chopped it a little. The account executive went through the talent plus with me. Then we met in person and I got offered the job two hours after. Then I went through Lancome Ecol.
