The interview process was a bit unclear, and I had trouble understanding the company's vision and future plans. However, the interview itself was conducted in a good environment with a quiet room and no disturbances. A calculation test followed the interview.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process is very thorough and structured. It's important to understand the trust values and equality and diversity position. Try to avoid waffling and keep to the point. Structure your answers so you don't speak for too long. Interviews for the bank are usually done on Saturdays, and there are a lot of candidates to be interviewed because there's a pool of staff they need. They tend to be at the education centers, either at Chorley or Preston, so if you want to get a feel of the area, take a visit.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I found out online if I was shortlisted and then we arranged a time. On the day, I met with a panel and was expected to give a short presentation. They asked about 15 questions in total, roughly 5 from each panel member. Some were scenario-based, but most were knowledge-based. Afterwards, there was a short test involving filtering a spreadsheet.
