First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lamons Metal Gasket.
Business Analyst
So, first there were two interviews, one with the manager and then the director. After that, the manager will introduce you to the whole team, which is like a third interview, to see how you'd fit in with the team.
- Are you able to collaborate effectively with a large team?
Buyer
The hiring process was quite nice and simple. First, the hiring manager talked to me. Then, someone from the team who really knows the job came in and asked me some questions. After they finished, the manager came back so I could ask my questions, and we talked a bit more. I got a call back the next day, and a few days later they confirmed they'd send an offer. I got the offer that same day and was asked to come in for new hire paperwork. The whole thing was quick and pleasant. Everyone I met was really friendly and direct.
- Can you tell me about the specific metals, grades, and specs you have experience with?
Intern
I had a virtual interview process for the intern position. They called and emailed me. Unfortunately, the hours didn't work out, so I didn't get the position. The questions were simple general interview questions.
- What do you expect your workday to look like?
Quality Administrative Assistant
Hiring is usually done through an outside agency. The interview process is pretty standard. Usually, you'll hear back the week after your interview to know if you got the job.
