First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lambda.
Software Engineer
Lambda asks technical questions to check your understanding of the domain. For the backend SW role, I had a fair but thorough test in Linux and OOP. No Leetcode. It started with a recruiter screener, then a hiring manager interview where we reviewed my resume and they asked some off-the-cuff technical questions. Next was a Linux technical interview where I SSH'd into an EC2 instance and answered random questions the interviewer thought of - it was thorough and difficult. After that, there was a behavioral and OOP design interview where I had to solve an OOP problem in Python or Golang, showing 100% competency. I was declined because I was nervous and mixed up Python and Go syntax. It's a relatively easy problem, so you need to nail it. Finally, a behavioral interview where the recruiter gives you scenarios beforehand to discuss.

Support Engineer
It was 5 rounds of interviews, with me talking to the recruiter, potential teammates, the hiring manager, and a senior manager. The recruiter set up phone calls before most interviews to let me know what to prepare for. They asked some technical questions, but it was mostly about the specific technologies used in the role.

Supply Planner
I applied online through LinkedIn, and the recruiter got in touch about 2 weeks after I submitted my application. I didn't get past the phone screen, but the whole process was pretty quick and straightforward. The recruiter asked basic questions from my resume, checked my understanding of the company, and shared some details about their product and mission.

Customer Operations Manager
The hiring process began with a recruiter screen, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and then the team. Despite positive feedback throughout the three rounds, I was unexpectedly asked for references before an offer was extended. I provided them, but after a week of no communication, I followed up only to be informed that an offer would not be made. It felt unfair, especially since my references spoke highly of me, and I had to chase them for a decision. I wouldn't recommend their hiring process.
