Brand Manager
I had two phone interviews back-to-back, and then I got to meet the VP of Marketing in person. That in-person interview was really great, very professional, and I really enjoyed it. I would have loved to work for them.
- Can you tell me about a marketing campaign you managed that was successful in a past role?
Therapist
After submitting an online application, I had a phone call for an interview, followed by a live one-on-one interview with the HR Director. They mentioned they would respond within a week, but after three weeks and several follow-up emails, I was told they were going in a different direction. They apologized for the delayed response.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
- Can you describe your relevant experiences for this role?
- What are your motivations for applying to this job?
Therapist
I met with the director one-on-one. I also chatted quickly with another counselor who told me what the job was like. They asked me some questions about patient care situations and how I'd handle them to see what I knew and how I'd prioritize. I also asked the manager/director a bunch of questions about the workload, what they expected, and the general work environment.
- How would you convince a patient to stay in treatment if they wanted to leave early?
- What do you know about treating substance abuse?
- What do you know about the Stages of Change model?
