I had an in-person interview where they asked me questions about my job performance. They then offered me a second interview with a higher-up team member. However, just before that, they told me they weren't hiring for the role anymore because they were relocating to a new office, which they knew about during my initial interview.

Applied and got an email for an intro call with HR. Scheduled it. 4 minutes before, HR asked to reschedule in two days via text. Replied immediately asking for best time. Got ghosted. So I scheduled another call myself a few days later. They called right on time, no warning. The HR person seemed unenthusiastic, like she was reading a script. After intro, she asked two questions relevant to a marketing manager role. I asked if there was anything holding me back from the next round. She said no and promised to message me the next day to set up the next interview. I sent a thank you message and was ghosted again. No response. No second interview. Over a week later, I got an email saying they hired someone else. Very unprofessional and rude. Don't recommend.

The interview process usually has four steps, but they're flexible. You'll start with a phone call with your direct manager. If you pass, you'll come in for an in-person interview with that manager and maybe one other person (the COO joined me for a bit). If you move on, there's a team interview with about 6 or 7 people. The last step is an executive interview with 4 to 6 people to check your culture fit. For Operations, the first couple of interviews can be tough because we need to see how you'll handle big decisions, unlike other teams. The whole thing can take weeks, or you might get lucky like me and finish in one week.

The process was pretty easy. It started with an email string and then a phone call. They then scheduled a second phone interview with the team, but they cancelled it the morning of the call without giving a reason. Given their mission, vision, and values, this felt very contradictory. They seem very young, which is what interested me, but my recommendation is to stay away until they have more experienced leadership.
