The interview process involved three interviews. The first two were standard meet-and-greets with the hiring managers, and the third was a presentation. After completing all three stages and being told they liked the conversation, they decided to hire internally. They offered no feedback, and the email was very brief, making it feel like a waste of time. It seemed like they already had someone in mind and just needed to meet their quota.

Behavioral Case

The interview process at Labster was one of the best I've experienced in a long time! They were very communicative and up front about what the process would look like and what was required of me. I had some professional deadline issues that required the interviews to be completed by a certain date and Labster was very accommodating of those personal needs. Though I didn't receive an offer in the end I've left the interview process with an even better assessment of Labster than when I started.

Behavioral Presentation Case

I was reached out to by a recruiter on LinkedIn and we scheduled a quick chat. She was really nice and easy to talk to. Next, I spoke with the Chief HR Officer, who was also really nice and upfront about the job and what they were looking for. The last interview would have been with some other HR people, and it would have been a presentation with a case study and Q&A. But, things changed for me and I withdrew my application before finishing that part. Still, it was a super positive experience and I bet whoever gets the job will be joining a great team!

Behavioral Presentation

It took them over two months to get back to me after I applied. Then, I was invited to a screening interview, which I felt went well. The next stage was an in-person interview at their office, which had a great atmosphere. A heads-up: make sure they cover your travel costs upfront, not just reimburse you later. I had to pester them for over a month to get my travel expenses back, and I only got them after escalating to higher management. They never even apologized for the hassle. The reimbursement notification also included the news that they had hired someone else. While the interview itself started off well, their follow-up on reimbursements and keeping me updated on my application status was really poor.
