I talked to the recruiter first. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager, but her boss showed up too, so it was like a panel interview. After that, I met with the client. I had to wait a few extra weeks for a decision because one of the clients was out of town. I asked for feedback, but they ghosted me.

I had an initial HR screening. The recruiter asked about my salary expectations, availability for a specific schedule, and if I could travel on-site for training. She mentioned that most meetings require cameras to be on, so they expect staff to look presentable and have a clear home environment without distracting elements like pets or unusual art. While they prefer candidates who can work on-site, they are open to remote positions for the right person. She was very friendly and direct.

The interview process was structured to evaluate my technical skills relevant to manufacturing medical diagnostic kits. It started with a recruiter call to gauge my background, followed by a technical screen to assess my lab proficiencies. The final stage was an onsite interview, which likely involved more in-depth discussions and possibly practical assessments to confirm my suitability for the role.

The interview process kicked off with a tough online analytical test. Before any interviews, I had to complete a background check and this test. Then, I had about an hour-long interview with six people on a panel. I felt like I did well. But, it took weeks for them to get back to me, which was weird since they said they needed someone ASAP. I had to chase the recruiter for an update, and it turned out I didn't get the job. At first, I was bummed, but looking back, I probably dodged a bullet. The leaders seemed pretty average, not as impressive as you'd expect given their roles. The biggest unprofessional thing was definitely the lack of communication and how long it took them to follow up.
