Labatt Food Service Business Analyst Interview Questions

I applied online to Labatt and got a response in about 3 days to set up a video interview. The person interviewing me was a Business Analyst and asked me general questions about my resume and specific questions about my math research and coding experience. About a week after that first interview, I had a second video interview with the Director of Sales. This interview was mostly about my questions for the company (about 60-70%), and the questions they asked me were about my resume, and didn't seem related to our previous conversation. They mentioned I'd hear back in about a week about a final onsite interview. After a little over a week with no word, I emailed them but never got a response. Then, a bit over a month later, I got an email saying they decided to go with other candidates.

I got a call pretty quickly after applying and they wanted me to come in for an in-person interview. I wasn't that keen on the company given the industry, but the advertised pay for someone fresh out of college made me want to try. I had to bring my transcripts and a writing sample, which felt a bit strange for this kind of job. When I got there, I had to take a personality test on paper and then do a computer application that was pretty much the same as the stuff I already sent in. Then I had to fill out another form that was also redundant. Lastly, I had a 1:1 interview with an HR person. She asked questions straight off a list. She obnoxiously looked through my transcript and asked about classes where I didn't get good grades. A lot of the other questions felt repetitive based on what I'd already said. The interview was so dull that I actually struggled to answer "why do you want this position?" near the end. No tricky questions came to mind. It felt like a total waste of time, and I wasn't upset at all when I didn't get selected. Even though the pay is decent and the company seems stable, it's in a really unappealing area of San Antonio and they don't seem to be looking to grow.

It started with a quick HR phone call, just some simple questions. Then I had a Skype chat with a senior BA where most of the questions were about behavior and some business scenarios. I had to explain how I'd tackle an analysis or a business issue. After that, another Skype meeting with a business unit lead. The final stage was an in-person super day with two interviews: one long one with an executive and another with a business analyst. Everyone was really nice.
