I was curious about this company and decided to apply to see for myself, but I really wish I had talked to former employees first. The first couple of interviews were phone calls with senior managers. They were okay, though one asked about my current salary, which I didn't share. It felt like they hadn't coordinated, as they asked the same things. They spent more time bragging about the company and how they're better than the big firms, claiming to have over a hundred consultants when they only have 15. After the phone calls, there was an Excel test. It wasn't a case study like you'd see at other consulting firms. Then, I was flown in for an in-person interview with the Owner/Founder, but ended up meeting with other managers first. I was taken to lunch by a manager who bragged about how many people they fire in the first week. Back at the office, I waited 30 minutes for the Owner, sitting by the front door. A current employee told me that consultants often quit after about 6 months, citing slow company growth due to weak marketing and sales, and that to survive here, you have to be like a cult follower, never disagreeing with the Owner, especially their family members. He also advised taking the negative Glassdoor reviews seriously, mentioning that management reviews the positive ones and that nepotism is a big issue. Finally, I met the Owner and got an offer that was 15% less than my current salary and couldn't be negotiated. When I tried, they said it was take it or leave it because they have tons of applicants. I declined and was essentially kicked out. It was a quick but terrible process, feeling like they just needed to fill spots quickly.

It was a really fast interview process that we did all on the phone. The company was growing super fast at the time to hire people for a big project. They asked basic background questions and some "how would you handle..." questions. It seemed like they wanted smart young people they could put on a project without much training.

It took two interviews to get hired as an intern. They asked some really hard questions, but the interviewer was also great at explaining the company and what the job is like. The interviewer seemed super into their business, which was a big reason I decided to join. Their business model was cool but kinda complex, and the client list they showed me was really impressive.
