First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LA Clippers.
Intern
it was simple and straightforward, the HR people were very involved and walked me through everything. they even set up a meeting for me before the interview in case I had any questions.
- What makes you want to intern with the Clippers?
Game Night Staff
Group interviews happen every August after the job postings are released. While some people get hired without knowing anyone, having a contact definitely gets you an interview. You'll get to talk with many different departments and then rank your top choices. They hire multiple people for each department, though some departments hire fewer. You have several opportunities to get hired. Many of the interviewees are fresh college grads or people looking for a part-time job. The main thing is to act like a professional, not just a fan.
- Could you describe your background?
- What is your motivation for seeking this position?
- Can you share an experience of working effectively in a team?
Marketing
It was a great experience! I met a lot of people and learned about the organization as a whole. The interview process was quite long, spanning about two and a half months.
- Can you give a brief introduction about yourself?
Account Executive
Super easy interview process. They asked some really basic sales-related questions. They wanted to make sure I was the type of person who would really hustle and not give up. The expectation was to hit 100 touches a day, which could be emails or calls, but they really favored cold calling.
- What will make you stand out from other candidates
