I applied online after seeing the ad on Craigslist. Submitted my cover letter and resume. Got called in for an interview scheduled for only 2 days later. Had a second interview about a week later. After the second interview, my references were called. I was hired soon after. All in all the process took about 10 days total.

It started with a brief phone screening where they asked about my past work and when I could start. The HR person was really nice and answered everything I asked. Then there was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and another manager. They wanted to know about my skills with confidential information, referring clients, and counseling. The last part was a panel interview with a few managers. Some questions were repeated, but I got a better sense of the job and what the organization is looking for. After that, they did a background check.

I talked to a staff member who was engaged and knew their stuff. Even though I didn't get the job, I learned a lot about the org's development projects. They also gave me good feedback for my job search.
