Systems Engineer
Recruiter set up an interview for a super generic role, figured it wouldn't hurt. The interview was with the hiring manager for an RF Engineer role, which is weird because I don't have any RF experience and never said I did. The job posting wasn't specific about the role either.
- Do you have RF experience?
Systems Engineer
Had a quick chat at the job fair. I went up to the booth, gave my resume to a systems engineer, and they started asking me questions right away. They mainly asked about what systems engineering is and why I'm interested in it.
- What is your understanding of systems engineering?
Systems Engineer
So there were two parts to the interview process. First, I talked to a recruiter. Then, I met with a panel of people who had open positions and liked my resume. They asked me to prepare a slide deck about my past tasks and how I completed them, specifically relating them to three out of five attributes they gave me on a list.
- Can you tell me about how you handled a fast-paced work environment?
