Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at L3Harris.
Manufacturing Engineer
After I had my first chat with the recruiter, they invited me for a more formal interview. It lasted 45 minutes and they asked me stuff about what I know about the company, my past projects and experience, and some general behavioral questions.
- What is your understanding of our company?
- Can you describe your previous projects and experience?
- Do you have any behavioral questions for me?
Reliability Engineer
I was recruited by the hiring manager. We had an initial screening and then a full panel interview. Everything was fine, except they didn't tell me that I didn't get it. They didn't tell me anything. I found out by checking the website. If you go through all this effort, at least let me know through the recruiter or generic email.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Manufacturing Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked basic questions about my past projects and about me, focusing on how I work within a team. A lot of the questions were geared towards understanding my personal qualities and how I interact with others in a group setting. For example, they asked about scenarios involving a difficult teammate, what the challenges were, and how I managed to resolve them. They also wanted to know how the teammate reacted and if I'd be willing to collaborate with them again. Finally, they inquired about the ideal qualities I seek in a team.
- Considering more time, which project would you enhance and explain your reasoning?
