I got referred by a previous coworker, and the first interview was a peer-to-peer chat over lunch. Then, I had a one-on-one with the PR Director. I brought in a detailed portfolio, and she asked to keep it for a week to look over. That meeting was quick and to the point. After that, I met the team I'd be working with before I left. It felt like a standard interview, and I figured the peer was there to see if I was a good fit before the Director interviewed me.
