We had a video call interview. It was me and one head designer. If we moved forward, we would have had a second interview with other team members or leadership.

Had a 30-minute video call with some really nice people who were super informative. They're open to international students and want to help them develop their skills. The team is pretty big, which means you can get experience in lots of different areas.

I interviewed in person a few days after applying. It was standard behavioral questions and an overview of the company, with a focus on office culture. It got awkward at the end when they asked about my expected salary. Neither the job posting nor the interviewer gave any indication of the salary range budgeted for the position. It felt like if I didn't guess their ideal figure, it would hurt my application. I never heard from them again, even after I followed up by email a week later, and sent a thank you note because I knew they needed to fill the position quickly. I later found out through other sources they hired someone. The lack of professional courtesy is the main reason I'm rating this a negative experience.

It was really intimidating. The designers acted like they had too much attitude and weren't friendly. I had to present one project in under 10 minutes. The office was super chaotic and busy on a Friday evening. They expect a Junior designer to work more than 40 hours a week, unpaid.
