I only got through the first part of the interview process. Some staff from a Korean academy ran a group interview with about six of us. They asked really simple questions to check our attitude, how we communicate, and if we seem professional overall.

We start with a pre-screening, which is mostly small talk with a few questions, and they check your skin and teeth. After about 3 days, we move to the second round. This round is an English test, which isn't too hard, followed by a discussion. Those who pass the English test then participate in a discussion where we sit around and smile. The topics aren't difficult, so they're likely assessing not just English skills but also attitude and teamwork. The final stage is a face-to-face interview where questions are based on your resume.

My interview was in late September 2016 at Kuwait Airways in Kuwait City. It involved two stages: a written English test, followed by an oral test if I passed the written one. I found out two weeks after the interview that I had passed and was shortlisted. It's now February 19, 2017, and I still haven't received the final interview call to start working. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

We were hired outstation and there were so many of us vying for only 30 spots. It can be nerve-wracking, especially if it's your first time. The Kuwaiti interviewers were nice. Make sure your skin is clear and you don't have any obvious tattoos or scars on your hands or legs. Just be yourself and keep smiling!
