First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kurtz EMS.
Deputy Manager
The interview process was very straightforward. It consisted of different stages. First, your application is reviewed. If everything looks good, you move on. Then, you need to submit request documents within a certain timeframe. If those are fine and your certifications are accepted, you move to the next step.
- What are your qualifications for this role?
Firefighter
About 3 days after applying, I got an email to come in for an interview. Once I scheduled it, I came in and sat with an interview board of 3 people from the company. They mainly asked typical questions like, "if you were a tree what kind of tree would you be." The next part was a bit surprising, as they started trying to talk me out of taking the job if it was offered!
- Could you share three of your strengths and weaknesses?
- What are some goals you have?
EMT-Basic
The interview lasted about 30 minutes. They gave me some company history and asked me to introduce myself. When I got to the office, I had to finish the second part of the application.
- Could you tell me about your educational background?
- What is your experience as an EMT?
- What were your reasons for leaving your previous positions?
