The interview process went well, with fair questions asked by a likeable and nice team. I was first led through technical questions and then through interpersonal questions including use cases. I found the atmosphere to be pleasant.

First, there was a phone screening, and then the final interview was in person at their office. The people there were really nice and welcoming, and the office itself was very clean and chic. I didn't get an offer, and I found out a couple of weeks later after I reached out to them.

After about 2 months from applying, I got a polite phone call inviting me to the first interview. This was a video call via MS Teams with someone from HR. It was quite pleasant and focused on my soft skills and how I've handled specific situations. They mentioned a waiting period of up to 2 weeks for feedback. Three weeks later, I received an invitation for a second interview with the R&D department, which was on-site. I had to prepare and present a presentation about my work. Afterwards, four people interviewed me about the presentation and the products. It was challenging but fair and interesting, lasting about 2 hours, followed by a facility tour. They had initially estimated up to 3 weeks for a response. However, I ended up waiting a total of 6.5 additional weeks, only to receive a standard rejection email. After such long delays and missed timelines, I'd already lost interest. While the interviews and people were genuinely nice, exceeding the feedback timelines is disrespectful and shows a lack of interest in the applicant. No excuses like vacation or other reasons can justify these wait times; it demonstrates disrespect and overwhelmed staff or poor inter-departmental communication. This should be a red flag for any applicant, indicating a suboptimal structure. Such a lengthy process from application to decision (>4 months) is not recommended for anyone urgently seeking a job. Although the people and company seemed great at first glance, the failure to follow through on their stated timelines shows little interest in potential employees from the start, so I certainly won't be applying again.

Behavioral Other

A guy interviewed me, everything was going fine and normal until he asked me about my family. He got too interested in my dad's work and we talked about him for 5 minutes. He scolded me for not knowing 100% what my dad does for a living, saying the interview was mine and not about my dad. In the English part, he directly asked me about my political preferences. When I remained somewhat neutral, he insisted again that I take a stance for or against the current president. In the end, he told me to show him my hands, saying they were very well cared for, and asked if I wouldn't mind getting them dirty or rough handling the forklift. The worst interview of my life, I felt highly discriminated against because of my political preferences and gender. Clearly, since I didn't play along with the guy, they never contacted me again.
