Project Manager
I was found on LinkedIn by the internal HR recruiter, and we had a good call. The next week, I interviewed with the hiring manager and felt it went well. Unfortunately, I was ghosted after that, which was rude and unprofessional. Companies should at least send rejection emails.
- Can you describe a significant project you managed?
Network Engineer
The recruiter reached out about a Network Engineer role that seemed like a good fit. I interviewed with the hiring manager, but it was short, under 20 minutes, and they didn't ask any technical questions. I felt like they weren't engaged, and I wondered if my accent was an issue. It was a disappointing experience, especially compared to my time at a FAANG company where they really seemed to embrace diversity and manage interviews well.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Corporate Development
The interview process has 3 rounds. The first round is an HR interview where they explain the corporate structure, process, and role requirements. The second round is with the manager, where they ask questions about your past experience and your understanding of modeling and valuation concepts. The third round is a group interview with HR, the Manager, and the Director, focusing on aligning on the department's common vision and strategy.
- Could you describe the equity valuation methods you've employed in the past, and indicate which you find most suitable?
- How do you stay informed about the current AgTech market, and what methods do you use to track it?
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses and strengths?
Assembly Line Worker
I applied at a staffing event they had on their campus. I filled out an application there and had a quick screening interview. I passed that and was sent to a conference room with other folks applying. They called us out one by one for a 1:1 interview. A couple weeks later, I got a call for a third interview. Another week passed and then they gave me a job offer.
- Tell me what makes you a good fit for this role.
- Describe a time at work when you had to juggle multiple tasks.
- How do you deal with difficult situations?
