I was found on LinkedIn by the internal HR recruiter, and we had a good call. The next week, I interviewed with the hiring manager and felt it went well. Unfortunately, I was ghosted after that, which was rude and unprofessional. Companies should at least send rejection emails.

The recruiter reached out about a Network Engineer role that seemed like a good fit. I interviewed with the hiring manager, but it was short, under 20 minutes, and they didn't ask any technical questions. I felt like they weren't engaged, and I wondered if my accent was an issue. It was a disappointing experience, especially compared to my time at a FAANG company where they really seemed to embrace diversity and manage interviews well.

I applied at a staffing event they had on their campus. I filled out an application there and had a quick screening interview. I passed that and was sent to a conference room with other folks applying. They called us out one by one for a 1:1 interview. A couple weeks later, I got a call for a third interview. Another week passed and then they gave me a job offer.
