First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kubicki Draper.
Associate Attorney
The interview process was very accommodating. I felt comfortable being myself and giving honest answers. I never felt rushed or awkward. The interview proceeded quickly and smoothly.
- What made you decide to apply to this firm?
Associate
This was a nightmare. First, there was a mandatory remote 'interview' with other applicants where the HR manager spoke about the firm. The HR person and a Partner observed all the applicants from our computers. I don't know how many other applicants were in this Zoom-like info session. The PIP position has been open for weeks. Then, I believe a decision is made about whether you proceed to another similar interview. The firm does this twice a week.
- Given that there are many applicants in this group session, do not expect any questions to be asked.
- I don't think there will be questions because we are online with a group of individual applicants.
Law Clerk
This interview was back and encouraging. This was my favorite interview during my law school’s on-campus interview process. I am looking forward to getting to work in the summer and meeting everyone at the office.
- What are your interests in the legal profession?
Paralegal
Had a 30-minute phone interview with regional HR, then the following week an in-person interview at the office with attorneys, and finally a 20-minute phone interview with the head HR manager of the firm.
- Tell me about your experience in insurance defense.
