The process started with an invitation from the professor in charge. This was followed by a meeting with the PhD students supervising the role. After that, the contract was signed, which was a very straightforward process. Finally, a confirmation email was received from KU Leuven.

They gave me a take home assignment with technical questions and then we had a follow-up meeting to discuss the internship details. Everything went smoothly and they were really open about how things worked.
