First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KT.
Coordinator
So I applied with my resume and then they invited me for a first phone screen with HR, who was really nice and knew a lot. We talked about my background, what I've done, and why I wanted this Coordinator job. They also told me a bit about the company's vibe and how they work, which was cool and set a good vibe. It was a pretty organized and interesting process overall.
- Tell me about some experiences that demonstrate your skills and knowledge.
Technician
Had a remote interview for about 15-30 minutes with the manager. The next step was with an engineer and some other people. They'll ask you to introduce yourself and talk about any experience you have that matches the job description. You need to be committed and ready to be on standby if needed.
- Can you describe your basic knowledge of gas and cannisters?
Network Engineer
I got a recruitment offer from one of KT's subsidiaries. I submitted my resume, which included my personal background, work experience, and my vision for what I'd do if hired. Then, I had an in-person interview with 5 people: 1 director and 4 team leaders (not from my own team). Two of these team leaders were from HR, and the other two were technical. The interview lasted about an hour. A week later, I got a salary offer from HR, but my request for a raise didn't work out.
- What measures can be implemented to stop employees from transferring from a subsidiary to the main company?
Engineer
There were normally 5 interviewers, from HR and the technical team, and others. The questions weren't too hard, mostly looking at the resume and not questioning too deeply. So, you need to write your resume properly.
- Tell me about a time you had to role-play in a certain situation and how you handled it.
- How would you approach a role-play scenario presented to you?
- How would you answer a role-play question effectively?
