There were two main parts to the interview. First, a technical interview with the Sibiu team and HR. It was pretty easy, good for junior folks, and focused on OOP. Second, a chat with the IT Manager from Germany, also with HR. HR was really involved, asking a lot of tough questions and only pointing out the bad stuff. They didn't make the job sound good at all, felt like they already picked someone. HR asked the same questions both times.

The interview was by phone. I briefly introduced myself, answered some questions about myself and my professional background, and my questions about the position and the company were answered in detail. The conversation was friendly, pleasant, and took place in an open, likeable atmosphere.

It was an assessment center with 8 participants and about 8 "assessors" (observers). It started at 8:30 and ended at 17:30. First, there was an introduction round where everyone gave a 2-minute self-introduction. Then, we discussed our knowledge about the company and what we were interested in learning more about, which was then covered in a company presentation. After that, Kroschu gave a presentation about the company. We then worked in 4-person teams on a "crafting task" where we had to design and build a construction from materials like balloons, straws, string, and tape, based on given requirements, all while being observed by 2 assessors. This was followed by a short presentation and prototype test in front of everyone. Next was an individual presentation in English. After 30 minutes of preparation, we gave about a 10-minute presentation introducing a product as representatives of a fictional company, with background data provided. We were then asked some questions about the fictional example to test our ability to react flexibly in English. Following that, there were role-playing scenarios involving conflict discussions: one with an intern who wasn't doing their tasks well, and another with the supervisor where we had to justify the intern's involvement. Finally, there was a classic job interview.

It was a conversation, we talked about positive and negative points, where you live, city and state, your phone number, if you have kids, if you live in a rented place or own a house, explanation of the job, salary, benefits, transportation, and then we ended the conversation with the result of the interview, whether you were approved or not, and that was the end.
