Transfer Pricing Intern
I was surprised to even make it to the Superday, especially since I thought I bombed the pre-recorded interview. The Superday itself was pretty relaxed, mostly behavioral questions. They asked a lot about my resume and specifically why I was interested in Kroll and Transfer Pricing.
- Can you explain your interest in transfer pricing and why it appeals to you, perhaps focusing on your curiosity?
- Why are you interested in this specific field of transfer pricing?
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Transfer Pricing Analyst
Talked to recruiter on the phone. Then talked to someone on the transfer pricing team on the phone. After that, went in person and talked to four people from the team and also did a case study. The whole thing moved really fast and I heard back quickly.
- Could you explain what transfer pricing is?
Transfer Pricing Analyst
So the interview process with Duff & Phelps started with an on-campus interview that was actually the toughest part for me. It went for a little over an hour, and I wasn't applying to a specific city, but rather for openings nationwide. After telling them I was open to location, a week later, a specific office called me for a screening interview with a director, which was a 30-minute phone call. Less than a week after that, I had a second round, about 30 minutes again, with a younger associate focusing on behavioral questions. Two days later, HR called and offered me the position.
- What do you think your strengths are compared to other candidates?
- Why were you interested in transfer pricing?
- What's your background in quantitative analysis, accounting, or economics?
