I had a phone interview for about an hour with the HR Director. Then, a week later, I had an in-person interview that lasted about 40 minutes with their COO and the HR Director. I had to wait in the lobby for about 10 minutes before they came to get me. The interview felt pretty standard, with both of us asking questions. After it was done, the HR Director told me she'd let me know what happened. I sent thank you notes to both of them and followed up with some emails offering articles to support a potential company vision, and a couple more asking for an update. Unfortunately, I never even got a quick email saying another candidate was selected, which I found disrespectful and unprofessional. If you're aiming to build a brand, you should make sure you're doing everything right, including letting candidates know the outcome of their job search. That was bad form, Krayden, Inc.!

So I went through 7 interviews total. Two of them had some scheduling hiccups where I had to wait around for the hiring manager for like 30-45 minutes when it was in person. After putting in my own time and really talking up the upper management's involvement, I didn't even get the basic courtesy of an email or a call to let me know I didn't get the job. Super unprofessional and frankly, inconsiderate.

Behavioral Technical Case

We started with a phone interview, then moved to an in-person meeting. After that, I met with the sales manager and then the CEO. During these meetings, we talked about my knowledge of the marketplace, the accounts and business volume I can bring in, how the compensation plan works, and the forecasting process. We also discussed vacation time, the company car plan, salary expectations, and if any non-compete agreements were in place that might stop them from hiring me.

Behavioral Other

I had 2 interviews for this job. They were flexible on scheduling and pay. The first interview, they seemed to lie about compensation. The second interview was basically a repeat of the first. They sent a poorly written email saying they'd hired someone else after making me wait 30 minutes for each interview, even though we'd scheduled specific times. I did notice they mostly hire women at this location, which could be seen as discrimination, but that's not my main concern.
