Got contacted by an external recruiter. Had a video call with an internal recruiter. Was sent a take-home test. Asked some follow-up questions about it but didn't get a response. Later, Kraken reached out again. Had an interview with a different recruiter. They unexpectedly asked technical questions. Then, there was another technical interview. A few days after that, I was emailed that they had moved on with other candidates.

So I had this interview process, it was like 5 stages total. Started with an initial screening, then a live programming challenge, then an architecture & design challenge. After that, there was a behavioral interview, and the last one was a final interview with the hiring manager. I thought I was gonna get the offer for sure after that last one, but nope, they rejected me.

Behavioral Technical Coding

It was a 4 step interview process. First, I spoke with a recruiter about my experience. Then, I had an interview with some developers about my technical background. After that, I was given a tech test to build a file uploader using React. Finally, I interviewed with two senior developers to discuss my implementation. They ended up rejecting me because of a small security concern on the backend, even though it was a Frontend position and I didn't focus too much on the backend code, though I did implement a lot of security features. I was a little disappointed about being judged on my backend code.
