The interview process was pretty straightforward. A few people contacted me during the interviews, so I was unsure who to ask questions to. The whole process took a few weeks, although the team I was interviewing with had some unusual scheduling needs. You can expect a culture interview, a technical assignment, technical Q&A, and technical discussions with engineers from different levels. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the Kraken mission before your first screen.

I first connected with them via a recruiter. We had two interview rounds. The first one was pretty brief, they explained the job and why I'd be a good fit, and asked a few questions. After that, I had a technical interview. The interviewers were friendly and laid-back, asked about my background, and then we dove into some specific topics. A couple of days later, I got a quick email saying they were moving forward with other candidates. I asked for more detailed feedback, but didn't receive any. It's a shame it didn't work out, I don't mind not getting an offer, but the lack of useful feedback is disappointing.

It was a quick process, HR screens and tech screens happened in just a few days. The staff were really friendly and answered all my questions. The 30 word requirement is pretty wild.
