The interview process was pretty long and drawn out. HR didn't seem to know what was going on and sent me to the wrong building, so the interview started 30 minutes late. They made it seem like it was my fault.

It started with a recruiter call, then a 30min talk with the hiring manager. After that, I came in for a half-day group/panel interview where I met with people I'd work with daily: peers, direct reports, and my boss. I had a good time meeting them and answering questions. The talk with the hiring manager was great, and I'm excited about the job and how I can help the company. But, the HR department was disappointing - unprofessional and didn't follow up. KAGR is like a startup, but their HR is way behind my 15 years of experience. There's other feedback about Kraft Group's hiring, and they share HR. Think twice before using PTO for an interview, as you might get no response.

Case Presentation

I applied online and shortly after received a HireVue video interview request. This was followed by a call with the recruiter where we discussed the role, its connection to clients' Key Account Growth initiatives, and my background. After that call, which went well, the next step was a test case study. The recruiter provided the dataset and some scenarios. I developed a client presentation and work plan, which took about 5 hours to complete, and sent it back. Two days later, I got an automated email stating my application would not move forward, with no feedback on the case study or any further discussion. I found this unprofessional.

It was a few phone calls, then a case study, and finally an all-day onsite with panel interviews. The recruiter communicated well and the whole thing was pretty standard. I just wish I'd gotten a clearer idea of the timeline for what came next after each step. Even though I liked the company and the experience, getting a rejection via an automated email saying "this rec has been filled" was a bummer. I feel like candidates who invest that much time in the process deserve a more personal notification.
