Engineer
So first there's like this general aptitude test, it's kinda like a filter to see if you have basic problem-solving and analytical skills. It has three parts: Quants where they check your numbers, logic for puzzles and stuff, and verbal for your English skills. You gotta pass this to move on. Then there's a stream-specific aptitude round, which is more about your major. Like for CS, they'll ask about OS, DBMS, networks, etc. After that, it's the coding round where you'll solve one or more coding problems, gotta write, debug, and run it. Problems can be simple or more complex, they're looking at if your code works, how fast it is, and if it's well-written. Lastly, there's the HR interview, which is more of a chat to see if you're a good fit personality-wise and culturally. They'll ask about you, how you handle situations, why you want to work here, and your future plans. Some behavioral and ethical questions might pop up too.
- Would you be open to relocating?
Engineer
I think I nailed most of the questions they threw at me. Nothing too tricky, and I was able to explain my thoughts and experiences for most of them. It felt like I covered all the main points the interviewer was looking for, without any major mistakes or gaps in knowledge. What really stood out was how the interviewer acted. They were super friendly and took the time to explain the job details and what the team needs. This was really helpful because it gave me a better idea of what the job actually is and how my skills would fit. It also helped me relax, making the conversation flow more naturally.
- Tell me about your experience with C++.
- How do you approach Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)?
- Can you explain Linked Lists?
Senior Design Engineer
They do online and offline interviews. You'll need to do a CAD test, and your software skills for CAD practice need to be good. The HR round is the last step.
- Tell me about sheet metal welding.
- What is your experience with Creo casting?
