Account Manager
Pros: The interview process was about 4 rounds. There was a phone interview and then virtual interviews with an assessment, where you had to be creative and think fast. You should practice how you write/respond to clients via email. The managers who did the interviews were all very nice and welcoming. They have great personalities and you can tell they love what they do at this company. Cons: they seemed to sway away from answering what benefits they offer. Based on glassdoor reviews, their benefits didn’t seem to be all that great though, which is why I feel like they never really directly provided info on the benefits side.
- What are two aspects you enjoy about being an account manager, and what are two aspects you dislike?
- Could you tell me about yourself and your previous role?
- What activities do you engage in during your free time?
Customer Service Representative
I applied and got an interview the next day, and the interview itself was 7 days later. They responded about my application 4 days after that. The phone interview went okay, the person was friendly, but I had phone issues which made it a bit tough. They told me if I got the job or not, which is good, but the reason they gave for not selecting me was a bit of a generic response about not matching skills and qualifications, even though I have 7 years of experience. I saw online that this company has high turnover, so I might have actually avoided a bad situation.
- Can you introduce yourself and walk me through your past work history?
- Do you have prior experience working remotely?
- What would be your availability to start if offered the position?
Account Executive, Account Manager
I went through several interviews. First, there was a phone screen, followed by a two-hour video interview. Although I didn't get an offer for the initial role, I was suggested for another position. The Account Manager lead I spoke with seemed to have already made up her mind before we even started talking. She asked very formal questions, like 'what items would you suggest as giveaways for x customer,' and then immediately moved to the next question without any casual chat about the role. She didn't ask if I had questions and just hung up after we finished. I waited about 20 minutes for the next interviewer, but they never called back. The recruiter then emailed me saying the second interviewer was in a meeting, even though they had scheduled this interview a week or so in advance. My hunch is that the first person didn't like me from the start and told the recruiter it was pointless to have the second person interview me after she just hung up. The recruiter was pleasant to deal with, but the Account Manager lead was quite unprofessional.
- Regarding a specific customer, what giveaway items would you propose?
Operations Coordinator
I went through 3 interviews total: first, a phone interview with the recruiter, and then two zoom interviews with the Operations Support Lead and the Operations Manager. Everyone I talked to was really nice and made me feel welcome. They asked some great questions and were super honest when I asked mine, which I thought was pretty respectful.
- How would your last manager describe you in one word?
- What are your best employee qualities, in three words?
- Can you share an instance where you made an error at work and how you dealt with it?
