Behavioral

It was a pretty easy two-round interview process. It was mostly behavioral questions where they wanted to know info from my resume and how my past experience fit the new position. Overall, I enjoyed the interviews. The people were really friendly and responded fast to my follow-up emails.

It was a two stage interview, conversational in style. First at the local office in Manchester and then at the London office. There were some competency based questions. It was very informational, you learn a lot as the candidate about how they work.

I applied through Indeed.com and got a call 3 days later to set up an initial phone interview for Friday morning. I waited until 12 before asking the recruiter, who was also the hiring manager for this role, if we were still on for the interview. She called back half an hour later, apologizing for missing the interview due to a last-minute meeting. She asked if she could get her paperwork sorted and call me back at 3 PM, as she had other interviews scheduled in between. I agreed, and she called back at 3:20 PM, asking some general questions until about 4 PM. I also asked questions about the position, but she wasn't sure of the answers and said she would talk to her team and let me know the answers and if I was moving forward by 5 PM. She didn't call back, so I left a message the following Tuesday morning asking about the information. She called back that Friday morning and said they had hired someone else based on experience but would keep me in mind for similar positions. She also thought I had spoken with her boss, who made the final hiring decision, but I hadn't, indicating a lack of team communication.

  • Tell me about a situation where you were the first on your team to step up and go above and beyond.
