Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Korn Ferry.
Project Manager
The beginning of the interview was great, recruiter was communicative and the panel interview was organized. I got good feedback and heard I was moving on, but then communication dropped. I sent follow-ups but got nothing back. It was a letdown because the company talks a lot about leadership and standards. Candidates put in time and effort, so clear communication is key, even if things change. The early part was good, but the lack of follow-through at the end was disappointing.
- Could you share some general behavioral insights?
- How was the overall vibe check?
Project Leader
Interviewer was excellent, the process was structured well and professional. It's a great place to work. Questions were asked about education and aspirations, as well as project management, revenue management, time management, stakeholder management, people management, and how reviews with the team are conducted.
- Can you tell me about your working style?
- What are your skills in handling people?
- How do you go about metrics measurement?
Senior Project Manager
I had an initial screening call with a recruiter, then three interviews: one with my direct report, one with their skip level manager, and a panel interview with future colleagues. I also completed three online assessments to measure my competencies.
- Tell me about your previous project management experience.
- Can you give me examples of situations you've managed and what your role was?
