I applied for this position at KEB Asia Finance. It was a 5-on-1 interview, although I mostly interacted with two staff members. One interviewer had weak English, and there were some awkward silences, possibly due to me. Overall, the first interview was okay. I was then invited for a second interview where we briefly discussed contract terms. The salary seemed a bit low for the industry, and definitely lower than before based on my knowledge. What really bothered me was their attitude during salary and benefits negotiation. I felt they weren't genuinely interested in me, just looking for someone who could do the job with minimal requirements. The HR even said 'impossible,' which sounded quite negative. I heard that many management roles are filled by Koreans, with few from other countries. They seem proud, which is fine, but they shouldn't disregard people from other cultures. I'm unsure if I'd be happy working there.

I was called in for a full day of interviews. It was divided into groups of 4 to 5 people. We were given a topic to discuss for 15 minutes, and then our group presented our thoughts against the other groups. After that, there was a panel interview where they mainly asked behavioral questions and questions about financial markets.

Three people interviewed me. The atmosphere was very quiet and serious. They asked me if I had citizenship or permanent residency. After I said no, they seemed to lose interest. Then they asked about my work permit length, if I knew what the bank does, and when I thought the bank closes. I didn't find the interview hard, just silly.
