First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Korcomptenz.
Cloud Engineer
First they asked me to tell them about myself. Then there was a group discussion on a non-IT topic, followed by some basic IT field questions and common office behavioral questions. Finally, they asked if I was willing to work in Chennai.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- Participate in a group discussion about a non-IT subject.
- Answer some fundamental questions about the IT field.
Business Development Executive
I interviewed in April 2020, my profile was shortlisted, but then there was a 2-month silence. HR Philip called again for a virtual formality round, where I answered all questions. My profile was shortlisted again, and HR asked for my documents (scl, clg, payslips). They then requested my previous HR contact for background verification and spoke to them. HR then told me to join within a week and that the offer letter would be sent in 2-3 days. I spoke to my current company about resigning. After 4 months, I still haven't received the offer letter, with HR saying management hasn't approved it. This whole process was a waste of time with useless interviews.
- Do you have any general sales questions for me?
Cloud Architect
The interview process was difficult - the interviewer had a strong accent and was hard to understand. He kept asking me for my ID card. When I mentioned this might be an issue, he started asking about my college graduation year. I felt this was age discrimination because he was very open about it. I told him he couldn't ask that and why, but he continued to ask for the exact year I graduated college. He only asked a few questions about my actual qualifications. Later, I got an email asking for my ID card again. I understand an ID card is needed for HR once hired, but we weren't at that stage yet.
- What year did you graduate college?
- Can you provide your ID card?
- What year did you graduate college?
NAV/BC Developer
There were 2 rounds in total. I did both the technical and HR interviews and got accepted. They told me I would receive an offer letter within 2 days, but I haven't heard back yet. I guess the management can't make up their minds.
- Basic questions about file handling and system integration were asked.
