& Process

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I was initially contacted by the National Sales, Events and Education Manager about the role before it was even posted. I then had interviews with the Regional manager and HR. I was informed I was one of two finalists and that they were really interested, even asking if I had a passport for a company trip to Cancun. The next step was an interview with the VP of Sales, but after that, I didn't hear anything. I reached out to the Regional manager, Holleigh, and she told me to wait because the VP was very busy but would get to me soon. Then, I was ghosted. A week later, I contacted the National Events Manager who originally reached out to me. Following that, I received an email from Holleigh with a generic message stating they had extended an offer to another candidate. This was quite surprising given I was told I was a finalist. There was no explanation or phone call, just a blanket rejection. I find this disrespectful of my time and commitment to the process. Kopari could definitely do better.

I talked to 3 people in 5 days and they said I would hear back by the middle of next week. It took them over a month to let me know they picked other people, and I think I only heard back because I kept emailing them waiting for a response (but it took over a week to get a response in general).

I went through a few in-person interviews for one job, then they switched me to interviewing for a different role. During the interviews, the VP of Marketing left and the Director of Marketing was going on leave. It felt like the company was going through some stuff.

Screening phone call with HR manager, then a Google Meet interview with basic experience questions, and finally a video to showcase TikTok social media skills for the brand.
