So the interview process started with a phone chat, and then I went in for an in person interview. During that in person meeting, we chatted about my skills, experience, and goals, and then I had to do a little design test.

I had an hour screening interview and then another hour interview with a team member. After that, I had to complete a timed written test where I had to come up with a full PR strategy for a made-up client, plus some other essay questions. It was tough but I think I did okay. Then came the mental evaluation, which was weird. Some parts felt like they were for little kids, with math word problems and multiple-choice questions about faces. It took about an hour. They said they'd decide soon, but I followed up three times over a few weeks. They told me to be patient while they deliberated and then they just stopped responding. It was super unprofessional and strange. A simple email saying they hired someone else would've been the minimum after wasting my time and having me do their test. Really rude.

The hiring process took a while and had 3 stages. The HR rep seemed new and not very experienced. I made it to the final round, which was a trial run of the job. Many employees liked my work during this trial. They didn't offer me the job due to my experience and salary expectations, even though they knew about my experience beforehand. There was also a misunderstanding in the second interview about the salary I was asking for. I clarified in the third interview that I was asking for less, a standard amount for the role. Still, no offer. It felt like they might prefer to hire only females.

Applied online and then got an email asking for my availability. Had a video call with one person, then a second video call with two different people. After those two interviews, they ghosted me. I get that it might not have been a fit, but it's basic professionalism to let a candidate know if you're not moving forward. It really only takes a minute.
