The interview process was pretty clear and organized. It mostly focused on my past work. It started with a Hiring Manager screen, then a Take Home Assignment. After that, there was a Technical Screen that built on the take-home and asked deep questions about my experience. Then, I had 2 rounds with Product Managers and a final round with the Head of Engineering. The recruiter was really helpful and communicative all the way through. The whole thing took about a month.

The interview process was conversational about my work experience. It had 5 rounds total, including a panel interview where I had to present a QBR style presentation. Behavioral Technical

The interview process was lengthy. It started with an HR chat, then a session with someone who had previously held the role. Following that, there was an interview with the hiring manager, and the process concluded with a panel interview. The second round was particularly difficult, devolving into a lengthy complaint from a Sales team member rather than an assessment of the candidate. The panel interview was also challenging due to time constraints, as they posed numerous questions like “how do you prospect?” and “how do you know these people?”. None of the panel interviewers offered any constructive feedback. HR has not provided any status updates for over a week. In retrospect, I would have withdrawn my application after the second interview, given the individual’s complaints about long working hours and lack of support in Singapore, implying an all-consuming work life.

Behavioral Technical Other

First, a recruiter reached out to schedule an initial chat. They mainly wanted to go over my work history and what I was looking for. There were also some specific questions about my experience with and interest in certain technologies relevant to the job, like static site generators and the docs-as-code method. After that, they set up a meeting with the hiring manager and asked for some writing samples. I then met with the hiring manager, and the recruiter got in touch afterwards to see how I felt and to schedule the next round. This is where things got pretty intense. The next interviews were all crammed into one day. I had back-to-back meetings with five other people: two from the docs team, two product managers, and the VP of Product. Each meeting was about 45 minutes, with a short 15-minute break after the second one. It was pretty tiring meeting so many people, and I was definitely losing steam by the last interview. Lastly, after I had already accepted the offer, I had a quick 15-minute chat with the CEO to ask any questions I had about the company.
