It was through our college campus placements for their R&D Team (Design Engineer - Mechanical). They told us about the Job Description. Questions were from our academics projects, interested subjects, and some questions were from manufacturing processes. Questions were such that it tests our basic knowledge. Please go through the interviewer's LinkedIn profile before attending the interview. They may ask questions from their areas of expertise also.

After a phone call screening, the recruiter shortlists candidates for online aptitude tests. Then, on the interview day, there's an Autocad tool test for an hour. You'll do a simple 2D diagram and a technical interview for half an hour. They'll look at your knowledge, speed, accuracy, and approach.

The entire interview process spanned three days. It began with profile screening, followed by an online English communication test and an online aptitude & technical test. These online tests could be completed at home after receiving login details via email. Candidates were required to submit a snapshot of their scores. The English test was easy, focusing on grammar, listening, and reading, with an expected score of intermediate and above. The aptitude and technical test was difficult. After these online tests, candidates proceeded to a tool test involving Creo (sheet metal, assembly, drafting/detailing) with a 60-minute time limit, extendable by 30 minutes based on performance. This tool test is a major screening point. Following the tool test, there was a technical interview covering basic engineering concepts and project-specific questions, and finally, an HR interview.
