I interviewed for an HR internship via Microsoft Teams. It was a phone-style call, no camera needed. The interview was pretty basic, mostly about my background, why I want to do this, and if I know HR stuff. The recruiter asked some standard behavioral questions and questions about HR areas like employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, and HR communications. They wanted to know if I learned about HR in class or from working, and how that made me want to get into HR.

It was a group interview with 3 people, and 2 of them were nice. They told me the Westerville job I applied for would require reporting to Mount Vernon. When I tried to explain it wasn't the opening I applied for and it was too far, the manager asked where I lived and said it wasn't too far, mentioning he makes that drive. It felt judgmental.
